Canberra born and bred actor Miranda O'Hare moved to Sydney in 2007 after completing her studies in Canberra at The National Acting School (NAS).
Since her move Miranda has gone on to achieve steady professional screen acting success.
Her television credits include a guest role in 'Packed to the Rafters', ABC'S 'I Rock' and 'The Cut' (recurring role).
Miranda is also a professional model and was the face of Clearasil for Cleo Magazine, played the lead role of Amy in their viral series 'The Social Diairies' and featured in a Mitsubishi commercial in 2008.
In 2010 after a trip to New Zealand for castings Miranda is also happy to be newly represented in New Zealand by Gail Cowan Management. She has also been cast in the new SBS comedy 'Housos' in a semi regular role with director Paul Fenech; production starts in August 2010. Miranda will also be playing the guest role of Jodie in Channel Nine's upcoming series 'Cops' and serial killer Anjette Lyles on Foxtels 'Deadly Women.'
Miranda's film credits are equally building solidly. She played some bit parts in 'Next Door To The Velinsky's' and the Bondi beach drama 'Nirvana Beach Liquor'.
In late 2008 Miranda played the support role of Michelle in the Bollywood feature 'Virsa' alongside Bollywood heart throb Arya Babbar and then returned to Canberra to play the title role in Graham Gall's production of 'Wisdom'. This short feature will be working the international festival circuit over 2009-10 following a private screening at Dendy Cinemas in Canberra City in October 2009.
In early 2009 Miranda acted in and produced the Mardi Gras theatre play 'Hard On' in Sydney which later toured successfully in regional areas.
Miranda continues to train consistently in Sydney since graduating from NAS. She has been taking screen acting classes at On Camera Connections, has also completed 'Screen Acting' at NIDA, The Eric Morris Technique at TAFTA and is currently doing a course in emotions under the guidance of Damien Walsh Howling.
Miranda is also accent trained (Standard American and English) and has singing and dance training.
Miranda plans to continue striving to achieve her goals as an actor and hopes to move to the USA in years to come.
